Control 2017 – NELA presents high-speed and high-precision inspection and sorting
For the third consecutive year NELA will exhibit at Control, the international trade fair for quality assurance. As a specialist in surface inspection, geometrical measurement and sorting, we will present optical inspection systems that are suited for a multitude of applications such as punched and milled parts, sintered parts, rubber seals or injection molded components. For the first time at Control we will present our new high-speed glass table inspection system TAVI.01 – XL, which was launched in 2016 and completes our product range at the upper end, as far as speed and inspection and sorting possibilities are concerned. With a throughput of up to 100,000 parts per hour, TAVI.01 – XL is our most powerful system that inspects and sorts even large batches efficiently and according to hightest quality standards.
The large glass table allows sensors for many different inspection tasks to be integrated, depending on the requirements defined by the customers. This makes TAVI.01 – XL suitable for even the most complex inspection tasks. When it comes to sorting, the system impresses with up to 16 sorting slots and, therefore, offers almost unlimited possibilities to meet customer-specific sorting demands. Together with our individually designed feeder and sorting options, we offer our customers a comprehensive and economical solution for quality assurance.
For a hardness or structural check on metal parts we are integrating the proven and reliable eddy current test instruments from German supplier Rohmann. These instruments are now also fully integrated into NELA‘s VisionCheck software, for example, statistical information can now be viewed at the NELA user interface. Eddy current inspection is an example for the flexibility and the possibilities for integration that NELA inspection and sorting systems offer.
For inspection tasks that require a high-precision inspection from all sides and, thereofre, turning of the parts we offer our proven inspection system TAVI.02, which we will also have in operation on our stand at Control 2017. TAVI.02 features two glass tables and a turning station, thus guaranteeing a comprehensive inspection of all sides of the parts with identical precision and without being influenced by the glass table. This gives our customers maximum production safety whenever a 100% inspection is needed.
Our inspection and sorting systems have been designed for a broad variety of materials, sizes and shapes. Whether it is seals or stoppers made of elastomers, sintered metal parts, punched or fine-blanked parts, turned or injection molded parts: NELA systems can be configured for almost any materials. In addition to this, our systems can be used for many part sizes and geometries. Thanks to our self-developed, modular VisionCheck software, inspection programs for many shapes, sizes and surfaces can be defined. In addition to this, the fact that all manufacturing processes are realized in the NELA factory enables us to integrate customer-specific feeding, packaging and finishing units with our inspection systems.
